Grand Canton and Antelope Canyon in a day

For my next national park adventure, I wanted to go to Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon. I’ve been to Grand Canyon once with a guided tour and though it felt a lot like a tourist trap, you still can’t deny that Grand Canyon is a natural wonder and be awed by it. Here are some highlights from the trip..

Can you guys spot the hidden eagle in this photo? It took me a while to recognize it but when I did, I was pretty amazed.

According to Swanson's Pyramid of Greatness, crying is acceptable at funerals and the Grand Canyon. Even the great Ron Swanson agrees that Grand Canyon is unbelievably magical. It looked to me like the earth was ripped apart!

The next day, we went with another guided tour group to Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. The journey was wearying - 6 hours drive from Vegas and 6 hours back to Vegas within a day! It was the only option for us to see Antelope Canyon within a day so we had to make it happen. Sitting in a bus with a bunch of strangers was definitely not the most pleasant thing to do but the end result was so rewarding I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Look at those beautiful art pieces crafted by mother nature!

The trip was bookended by a quick stop at Las Vegas' Neon Museum where I had a lot of fun photographing letters in different neon shapes and form. I didn't purchase the tickets prior to visiting so they only let us in to the smaller section of the museum so I highly recommend anyone who's visiting to buy the tour tickets online beforehand.
